An Innuos server may not start at all for many reasons. You may troubleshoot any of the possible scenarios by following the next steps:
- Press and release the front panel power button on the server. If the server doesn’t power on at all (front panel power led is off) then please check all mains power connections, cables, adaptors and plugs (depending on the model). Make sure all connections are tightly fit. Have you tried a different mains power outlet (as it can be faulty)? Make sure the power switch on the back of the unit is switched on (if applicable).
- Check that the fuse is ok, in doubt you should replace the fuse to be sure – please refer to the KB Article: Replacing the fuse on Innuos products (if applicable);
- If the server seems to be powered on (front panel power led active with blue colour by default) but the server isn’t found via the my.innuos.com web service then please refer to the KB Article: Server not showing on my.innuos.com;
- If you have a ZENmini and all of the above didn’t sorted for it, or, for the ZEN, ZENith and the Statement – if the front panel power led is active with a white colour (only for servers equipped with the chameleon power led) then this usually means that the system wasn’t able to boot properly for some reason. Please check the following: with the server powered on (power led active) If you press and release the front panel power button does the system shutdown immediately? Or does it take a few seconds to fully power down (power led off)?
