Steadier timing, purer sound

FLOW is the range of Innuos USB Reclockers designed to create the ideal conditions for digital audio to reach your DAC with uncompromised precision. Acting as the final stage in the digital signal path, it isolates, regenerates and delivers the signal in an environment engineered for exceptional electrical quietness and timing accuracy, allowing your DAC to perform at its absolute potential.

FLOW devices can work with any USB source but will perform at their best when partnered with an Innuos streamer. Combining ultra-precise reclocking with high-end power supply architecture, the FLOW Reclockers also offer ultra high-performance Digital-Digital Conversion thanks to its modular design, allowing the installation of custom output boards with native protocols from high-end DAC producers including:

ProISL Module (MSB)
CH-Link Module (CH Precision)
Optilink Module (EMM Labs)
I2S Module (Soulution and other HDMI I2S DACs)
(Additional boards to be announced)

Every Innuos reclocker is built in-house, by engineers who tune each unit by ear. Steadier timing, purer sound.

MODULAR RECLOCKERS & CONVERTERS

NazaréFLOW Modular Reclocker & Converter

NazaréFLOW

  • Master Reclocker architecture: A reference-grade OCXO clock becomes the single timing source for the entire digital communication path, dramatically reducing phase noise, lowering jitter, and delivering greater timing accuracy, coherence, and musical realism.
  • Modular DAC connectivity: A high-performance USB output is complemented by dedicated DAC Connection Modules for compatible manufacturers, enabling native interfaces such as MSB and CH Precisions while optimizing clock distribution between the reclocker and DAC for maximum performance.
  • Nazaré-grade power architecture: Borrowing directly from the flagship NAZARÉ music server, the advanced power supply combines custom multifilar transformers, proprietary GaN-ARC8 rectification, ultra-low-noise DC4 regulation, and massive energy storage to provide exceptionally clean, stable power to every critical stage.
  • Engineered for ultimate signal purity: SmartStack vibration control, a heavily shielded CNC-machined aluminium chassis, and precision mechanical isolation work together to minimize vibration, resonance, and electrical interference, preserving the integrity of the digital signal from input to output.
Next-Gen FLOW Reclocker

Next-Gen FLOW

  • Master Reclocker architecture: Inspired by the design principles of NazaréFLOW, the Next-Gen shares the same reference-grade 3ppb OCXO clock but with power supply and chassis engineering to match its partnering streamers from the ZEN Next-Gen series and improve upon them with a dedicated output stage.
  • Modular DAC connectivity: More than just a USB reclocker, the FLOWs optional output module introduces high-end DDC functionality including proprietary interfaces for MSB, CH Precision, EMM Labs, and more. Further boards are available for I2S and SPDIF.
  • Next-Gen PSU: With a 300VA multifilar transformer, ARC6 active rectification and CX Regulation, the critical OCXO Clock and output module stages receive extremely low-noise, inpdendently regulated power for a pure and accurate signal, revealing new depths of performance in your DAC.
  • Next-Gen Stack: Compatible with any USB source, the Next-Gen FLOW reaches its full potential when paired with an Innuos streamer, and is designed to perfectly match as an upgrade to the ZEN Next-Gen, ZENith Next-Gen or STATEMENT.

FAQS

1. What is the difference between STREAM1 and STREAM3?

The STREAM3 builds on the STREAM1 with a similar feature set but benefits from a superior power supply for a significant step up in sound quality and is still an improvement over the LPS1 also. It has a more substantial chassis for shielding and vibration control, and due to its larger size can accommodate a wider range of output modules including the PhoenixI2S board and the PhoenixDAC.

2. Are these streamers, or servers?

Both – the modular nature of the internal storage, digital output modules or analog output modules allow many variations or combinations for the product to be a music server, a digital network player, or fully integrated streamer for direct connection to an amplifier. Tailor the system to what you want it to be

3. How does ZEN Next-Gen series improve over STREAM series?

ZEN Next-Gen and STREAM offer the same Sense app experience and overall features, but ZEN Next-Gen delivers superior sound with a more advanced power supply, PreciseAudio mainboard, and enhanced chassis. It also has more processing power to allow AudioCore technology and handles larger libraries with dual SSDs.

4. How does STREAM series differ from earlier Innuos products?

STREAM series carries on the successful legacy of ZEN Mk3 music servers and PULSE network players and combines them into a versatile, single product thanks to its flexible modular design. With the latest generation in design and premium components, our gateway product range sounds and performs better than ever.

5. Can I still rip CDs?

Yes! Our powerful CD ripping engine is still available in Sense app, you simply need to add a USB optical drive of your choice and make sure there is internal storage fitted in your system. This will behave just as if it were an internal CD ripper from our earlier products with the same automated process, and choice of FLAC or WAV ripping.

6. Which output module is right for me?

The best output module is the one that makes the most sense for your current system, and our modular design means that you can change your optimal output type in the future if your HiFi setup changes. We offer internal DAC modules for direct connection to amplifiers or powered speakers, and a variety of digital output modules to cater for what is best suited to your DAC.

7. What are the upgrade paths for the STREAM series?

Besides the output module and SSD bay which can be taken advantage of over time, the STREAM1 can be improved further with two add-on devices to form a STREAM1 ‘stack’. These are the partnering NET1 audiophile network switch, and the LPS1 power supply upgrade which is cable of powering and improving both the STREAM1 and NET1 simultaneously thanks to its dual power outputs.

The STREAM3 already benefits from a built-in high-end power supply but can be improved further with the addition of an audiophile network switch. The NET3 network switch is designed to perfectly partner the STREAM3, comprehensively addressing the network input stage using trickled-down engineering from our flagship NazaréNET.
