With Sense 3.0, we’ve completely refreshed the Radio experience. The new Radio & Podcasts feature makes it easier and more enjoyable than ever to discover and enjoy your favourite stations and podcasts.
By default, you’ll find these options under Music in the Streaming Services section.
Radio
When you open the Radio tile, you’ll see it divided into three sections: Favourite Stations, Internet Radio and Radio Services. At the top right of the page, you’ll also notice two icons: a + (plus) and a magnifying glass. These let you manually add a radio URL or search for a station, respectively.
Favourite Radios
Any radio station you tap the Heart icon on will be added to your favourites and displayed here at the top of the page.
Internet Radio
Here you’ll find a set of categories to help you browse and discover stations. The categories are History, Recommendations, Local Stations, Popular Stations, Trending, High Quality, New Stations and Directory.
- History – Shows a list of the radio stations you’ve listened to previously.
- Recommendations – Suggests stations based on your listening habits.
- Local Stations – Displays stations specific to your area.
- Popular Stations – Lists popular radio stations tailored to your location and profile.
- Trending – Highlights stations currently trending among listeners.
- High Quality – Features stations broadcasting in higher quality.
- New Stations – Updates with newly added stations from our service provider.
- Directory – A complete list of stations that you can browse by location, genre, or language. Perfect if you don’t have a specific station in mind and just want to explore.
Radio Services
This section contains supported third party services. At present, Radio Paradise is available here.
Search
If you’re looking for a specific station, use the Search function. Select the magnifying glass icon and enter the name of the station you want to listen to.
Manually Add Stations
If you cannot find the station you want, but you have its URL, you can add it manually. Simply select the Add Station icon (the + symbol in the top right, next to the search icon). A popup will appear for you to enter the radio URL and select Connect.
You can add this station to your list of Favourite Radios so its easily accessible when you next want to listen to it, and avoid needing to manually connect to it again.
